School Outreach
A few weeks ago we went to a local school to donate a set of encyclopedias.

We choose this school as one of the teachers attends our church.

There are in excess of 600 students attending this school.
The school was most grateful to receive the donation. As you can see from the picture, their library was increased by about 25 percent with this small donation.

During the visit it was brought to my attention that there was no electricity at the school. Someone had stolen the wiring in order to sell the copper.

The actions of a few affect so many. In this instance, it affected the lives of over 600 children.

It is the rainy season, and it gets muggy. Due to the lack of electricity, the children did not even have the benefit of a fan to circulate the air in the classroom.

We let some people in the United States know about the plight of the school, and they responded by providing the funds to procure and install the wiring in the school.
A special thank you to Premier Power Solutions and Ralph Burnett for providing the resources for this project. We would also like to thank Kristi Holland for helping to coordinate this effort stateside.

The House of Worship is excited about the opportunities to partner with other organizations in the local community and helping to improve the learning opportunities of the children in this area.
