We have a church tucked away in the mountains of Don Salvador. The church is located an hour outside of the city of Bacolod, but what a difference an hour makes.
Many of the attendees travel a great distance by foot to attend service. Distances that may cover traversing two mountain tops.
Most attendees are farmers and are not blessed in finances. But the charity of their heart is evident as they bring fruits and vegetables from their land as an offering.
Great things are happening in the mountains of Don Salvador!
The Council authorized us to establish a legitimate presence in the municipality and to build a church and community outreach base.
The sanctuary, kitchen and parsonage is complete!
Service is held each weekend and a Bible study and literacy program is held each Tuesday.
We have a core of workers who have been with us nearly three years, and they have been the mainstay in the transition of this church from one location to another.
