I guess this story started back in the late 1980's when Greg and I served together in the Marines at the helicopter squadron that flies the president.
A short while ago Greg sent me an email and relayed how he did a Google search and discovered our missionary adventures in the Philippines. Greg explained how he had given his life to The Lord and how he and his wife were involved in their local church.
In July of last year we featured a local school in our monthly newsletter. Greg's wife was touched by the lack of resources the children of the Philippines have. She made it her mission to improve upon the library of this school.

She coordinated with her Sunday school class in Mount Bethel, as well as her place of work to conduct a book drive.
In February we received a shipment of 36 boxes of books. You can see from the picture that I had my hands full sorting them out. |  |
 | I had the pleasure of delivering books to a local orphanage, two local schools, a school teacher who teaches at a remote school in the mountains and books to our Sunday school teacher for use in our own Sunday school.
The local community would like to thank Greg's wife and all those that made this possible.
It is making a difference in the local schools and community, as well as the local church!
